How I got here

The Original Training Ground

I grew up in a house with six younger sisters. It was a constant rush of hairpins and ribbons, and I spent years experimenting on them. Those busy mornings, with seven girls all trying to get ready at once, were my first real lessons in how to work quickly and stay calm when things get crowded.

The stage

That sense of creativity eventually took me onto the stage. For most of my life, I have lived in two worlds at once. I’ve spent thirty years as a singer and guitarist, and even opened an aerial arts school in Costa Rica where I coached kids and took them to compete internationally

Performing taught me things you don't learn in a typical beauty school. I learned exactly how light hits a face and how hair needs to be pinned to actually stay in place while you move.

While I was performing, I was also building my career in the fashion world. I moved to London for professional training, working with brands like Laura Mercier and Aveda. A major turning point was getting the call from Elizabeth Arden to work backstage at London Fashion Week. I loved the technical challenge of the runway, but the real "a-ha" moment came when I was asked to style a bride for the first time. I realized immediately that I preferred the quiet, personal connection of a wedding morning over the rush of a fashion show.

The Tropics

In 2013, I moved my business to Costa Rica to focus on destination weddings. Spending a decade working in the tropics was a huge learning curve. I had to figure out how to make hair and makeup survive intense heat, humidity, and hours of dancing. It's where I developed a very practical, durable approach to styling, so my brides never have to worry about their reflection once they leave my chair.

Returning to Rome

Coming home to Rome feels like a full circle for me. After years of traveling and working with so many different faces across the world, . I’m bringing all of these different chapters with me. My goal when you sit in my chair is simple. I want you to feel completely at ease, and I want you to walk out the door looking and feeling exactly like yourself

I'd love to hear what you have in mind for your wedding. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
